... the bodies. We climbed on our bikes and rode 10km up the beach and found a big ship that was now earth bound and zebra's and elephants and white horses. I kid you not. Check out my photos!!!! Now I think the whole of France is at the beach and half of Spain. Its all so different to what we are used to but thats why we are here! Tomorrow we shall go to Carcassonne or maybe the next day. We shall see how hot it ...

... St Jean where we found a sandwich place. Lori, Steve, Peter and I were sitting there when Tom ca me by.. He came and joined us and told us the story of a little dog we had all seen on the side of the road, which was now in the van with Caroline who was attempting to find the owner. ... was gone and he'd been informed of Mesfin's whereabout through booking.com. I'm liking booking.com more and more all the time.

Resting back in the room, we noticed many of the others sitting down at a restaurant just below our balcony. So all three of us headed down there too. I got a pizza, Caroline had a pasta, and we shared some sangria. Arthur rested quietly under the table. All of us had had a very busy, eventful ...

... so heat exhaustion and dehydration were not the threats they were for yesterday's cyclists.

Our nominal route today included 6 "Cols"; admittedly, a couple of them were pretty close together. The BIG peaks were Col de Pailheires (2001m) and Col de Jau (1500+m), and they were NOT close together! It was a long day of cycling and climbing, punctuated ...
