... family and is poisonous! No. thank. You. If that wasn't enough, we got to see about 12 Thomas langua monkeys. We got even closer to these. They weren't aggressive to people and didn't want to take your belongings or go through your bag. They were so pretty to look at with their white faces and stomachs and the rest of them being a silver grey. The babies were even cuter! Our guide told us that these monkeys can only be found in North Sumatra! We had seen pretty much everything and ...

Now we have to hang about in the airport for 4 and half hours until we board, it's a nice airport and plenty of shops to look about but just frustration knowing we could have been there already! ... dark hallway with walls 20m high on either side streaming this water. This darkness represented the height of the wave that destroyed their lands and killed so many people. It certainly gave one pause. Then you entered a large hall with stands showing films of the before and after images and all the devastation. Hard to watch to say the least. Afterwards you walked into the main hall which is lined with all the family names lost that day almost ten years ago. The rest of ...

We started the day by going for a stroll to get some breakfast and find out about trekking in the jungle for tomorrow. For breakfast it was the usual, Mie Goreng. We were then able to have pineapple juice because the electric came back on. When we returned to the hotel, we just sat down next to the river for most of the day and plan Malaysia. We also booked the trekking for a day tomorrow and got talking to a couple in the room next door who were going to be ...
