    ... for breakfast. He talked them down to $75/night for 3x nights. We had an 'apartment' with 2 separate, open, rooms and a bathroom in the centre. The pool was very useful and we utilised it often, with the rocking chair bandits, both while we stayed here and again after we left (which the staff didn't like in the end...) - Elizabeth Hospedaje.     ... the sharks are still in the lake.) We saw a snake, a kingfisher and a family of howler monkeys. They provided us with a very nice lunch and we got to go swimming in an Aqua spring which was very refreshing.

    In the evening the power went out on the island so we had to eat our dinner by candle light. Apparently this can happen quite a lot and they can also lose the water supply. Thankfully this didn't happen when we were ...

    ... well, back down we go. Now if coming up was hard (which it most definitely was), then going down was hell. The first part we could kind of scree down with long sliding steps resulting in piles of black sand in our shoes. Then it became too rocky for this but still with plenty of the slippery debris. I fell over multiple times (thankfully backwards) and was still picking gravelly bits out of the cuts in my hands 3 days later.

    ... game today without scorching to death so this goes to show how much of a difference a little shade can make. A random kid was juggling/nun-chucking these balls in glorified socks which was pretty funny to watch. We hung out a while longer on the beach and then packed up to get ready for our canopy tour.
