    Today we went to Avila. The only city left that is fully enclosed with a city stone wall. We enjoyed eating the Avila famous dessert called yemas. It is a cooked dessert made from egg yolks and sugar covered with chocolate! Jakob, Jaxon, and Rhett tried to climb the tall wall and decided that it was indeed a secure city!     We visited a few old cities on the way to Caceres so a bit of wandering. Some ruins, some intact all interesting in their own ways. Caceres is a unesco heritage site and has been owned by many forces along the way. Like many old cities though it lacked a bit of greenery.
    There have been constant little figures of the kkk style inquisitors so when we had a full size model,pictures were important! Storks are persisting though nests ...
