This city is Italy's window on Croatia. The city of Split is across the water and a ferry boat ride away. The Adriatic is quite lovely. It has the same lovely blues as the Caribbean and it appears that Europeans, especially the Brits, come down this way for the summer sand and resort life. Yesterday was a wonderful wedding day. At 1:30PM the bus came to pick up all the guests staying at the Hotel Maja, after first stopping at the Hotel Carlton. It was about a 20 minute drive to Citta Sant Angelo for the ceremonly. The bus could not drive into the town centre, so we were dropped off for a short walk up to the town office.
