... they follow you even when you say no. No matter, we walk straight towards the lovely cathedral, in total awe of the architecture of this place. And then you turn around and realise that there are alot of lovely buildings in this square. There is one that looks like the Arc de Triumph, a Museum space, and, off in the distance I can see a statue (sure its got to be someone old and famous, so worth a look later on).

We wander the narrow lanes and pop into Ristorante Vittoria in a narrow alleyway some ...

... there was stuff there beyond the high end stuff but alas one afternoon was hardly enough. Sorry to say I left Italy without a single pair of shoes but hey I have still come away with a few choice items and well it wasn't really that sort of holiday. Milano, our stay was far to short and I must return one day. Arrivederci Italia ! It's been real ! No bargain buys at the Milan Malpensa airport. True to form it was strictly designer but we bought our wine and chocs and headed off to ...

... trying to scam people by 'giving' people bracelets and when they would tie it around your arm they would ask for money. I stayed away from them before I went in the cathedral because I knew what they were up to, but one grab my wrist on the way out and I had to yell at him to let go. I don't think he meant to be rude, but it's not okay to grab a random stranger.

After the Duomo, I went into the ...
