Today I was able to sleep in alittle and thank God! When I woke up I went down stair to grab something to eat and I decide to go walk around Lyon for a little bit. I decided to go to some beauty supply store because I needed to get some cream for my hair. When I walked in the man working at the store could not understand what I was looking for. He thought I was asking for shampoo or conidtioner, but i was asking for leave in conditioner. He finally was able to ...

We walked around the grounds where there was an amazing, panoramic view of the entire city of Lyon. We started walking down and discovered a stairway that got us back to the bottom in minutes. different. I made a mental note to return the next day and check it out first
    thing.

We started the day off ...

... left or the right? The waiters did both apparently according to whatever was practical in each situation; and same for clearing. You hear such firm opinions on what is correct etiquette - serve from the right, clear from the left; or vice versa. What we saw at Bocuse seemed very sensible to us. The rule appeared to be whatever is least intrusive to the guest which isn't a bad rule vs some arbitrary rigid dictum.

Lastly we were a little surprised with the wine ...

The Queen of My Own Soul

... in general. Yesterday afternoon I walked to Amine's house where I used to live with him and I put my copy of the letter box key inside the letter box. This afternoon I walked back again to see that he, or someone else, had collected it. I think I kind of realised that I don't hate him anymore. Forgiveness is a funny word because it implies that someone has done something wrong and needs forgiveness. And the spectrum of wrongs are quite large in my opinion. ...
