... colours of the trees and the brilliant green of the grass was amazing.

E failed to get any lunch as we discovered that 11:11 is a bank holiday in France and everywhere was closed! So we arrived at the hotel at 5:00 pm and were starving! We checked in and the owner kindly provided us with pate and bread and a glass of red....perfect!

... morning. We all gathered in the breakfast room in our hotel again at 5:15am. A bus trekked us over to the Lyon train station where we jumped on the train to Marseille, France. The 2 hour train ride was beautiful as it went through the French countryside. We even got to watch the sun rise over the hills. It was not easy to keep our eyes open despite the beauty. Upon arrival in Marseille, we got on another bus and headed for the port of Marseille, ...

Hi All, Sorry it has taken me a while to write another blog, but have been struggling a bit & was finding it hard to get my head space clearer so,I could write to you all. I have dropped out of some of the excursions, as I have been achy, tired & loosing voice again, sure indicator that I have been over doing it, be assured that I am being well looked after. After our visit to Tournas we set off for Macon travelling down the river during dinner, it took 3 hours & was dark ...
