... to see these people sitting in the same restaurant. Veterans are clearly loved here. Lunch was clearly the best part of the day. After lunch we saw General McAuliffe's headquarters where he gave his famous reply to the German surrender demand of Bastogne. ... to the Battle of the Bulge. We took off looking at a few sights in town. Just wished I felt better to enjoy it more. We finally moved out to the north side of town toward Foy. ... get the pump to take our card, so I felt better knowing it wasn't me. Then our friend laughed, and told us he worked for the American Embassy. However, over here that usually means McDonalds, but no it was the actual American Embassy. Just another time God has placed help in front of us when we've needed it most. Lots more funder and frightening last night, but at least it was dry for the beautiful drive through the Ardennes forests and valleys.

We have now arrived at Bastogne, still in Belgium just, but very close to the Luxembourg border . We have stumped up the princely sum of 48 euros to stay 2 nights at Camping Renval, mainly because we need to do some washing, have showers and take advantage of their free wi-fi.
