The place is known as Policeman's Point, and used to be the staging post where the horses rested and changed for people ...

We only moved short distance to Kimba for our next night so stopped at all the rest stops on the way and walked.
As it was over 40deg we had decided to Stop at Kimba as it has a swimming pool. When we get there we find out that it ...

... inclines, no wonder they hold the tour down under in SA. Rapid Bay was an amazing place to stop - after we had a good look at the Wirrina marina and Wirrina Cove Resort around about 10 minutes before Rapid Bay. Calls of "This must be it!" were silenced once we got back on the road and saw large road signs stating Rapid Bay 3 k's ahead.
