      Breakfast at 8am then check out for 50 min drive to Ferry Terminal arriving in good time for our 10.30 ferry. Back on mainland we retrace our route on the B23 towards Adelaide but turn off on the road to Victor Bay which is about 60km Arrived about 1pm and checked in to our hotel which has a nice room and restaurant.       ... eye, another had been attacked by a dog and they are all treated at a marine centre in Adelaide and then taken to the sanctuary. She said the oldest was about 12 years old.

      There was also a Central Bearded Dragon which Brian got to hold.

      Whilst waiting to catch the horse drawn tram I was gazing out over the ocean and spotted two Dolphins. Couldn't get a photo of them.

      Back to the Country Club for a quick dip in the pool before dinner.

      ... of the best surfing beaches
      on KI. It is a very long bay that has a natural protecting west end to
      it, and great easing sand banks so it makes a great swimming beach.
      The camp ground was fairly empty when we turned up and I think we are going to like our home for the next 8 days.
      Again, we have been going to sleep and waking up to the gentle shoosh of the ocean.

      ... Dean was crying wolf (given the number of times the fam have teased me!!!!!!!!!!!!) but they were really there! Only a few and a long way out but I felt like my dreams had come true! Nothing else mattered - the fact that the food, wine and service were faultless added up to the best lunch EVER! Here is my Tripadvisor review:

      ... Ocean and walked out to Granite Island. There is a horse drawn tram that takes people out there but it was on its last trip for the day. That was ok as the walk out did us good. On leaving there we went via Yankalilla, driving around a reservoir which was between these really high hills. Glad we didn't have the van on or it could have been a bit awkward getting around those sharp bends and steep inclines and declines. It was 6pm before we got back to the caravan park. What a great ...
