... the 'Canal Room' as our windows overlook the Rio di Noale. This canal runs from the northeastern coast of the island towards the central Grand Canal; we are about three blocks in. The windows are triple-glazed to cut down the noise of the passing motorized boats, which it does to a comfortable extent. Just tourists everywhere. I 100% believe that there are quadruple the amount ...

Saturday - arrived at Venice at 2.45pm. Booked into the Hotel Carlton on the Grand Canal. Went for a walk through the back streets. Found a nice restaurant where we had dinner. We ordered a seafood dish (prawns, squid (scampi) and lemon palette) and a bottle of their local white wine ($28.00 euro ...

As the trip has progressed we have spent more time enjoying being in a place and less time seeing things. Today was one of those days. We needed to wash clothes so spent an hour there washing and ring and reading our wonderful Safe Haven Marriage book by Arch and Sharon Hart/May ( age-Archibald-Hart/product-reviews/0785 28947X/ref=dp_top_cm_cr_acr_txt?ie=UTF8 &showViewpoints=1). It is one of the most helpful books we ...
