architecture, intermingled with greenery in well-kept and -designed gardens and
walkways. Another unique feature: Copenhagen's more full of waterways than a
tin bearing its namesake is full of dip. Upon one such waterway, a channel
which connects the main parts of the city, we took a bilingual tour
(unfortunately the two languages were Urdu and Swahili, so we didn't understand
a lick of it. Just kidding).
... 15 minutes walk away. From there we took a train to Nordport station where we transferred to the Metro. I couldn't find a ticket office or ticket machine, and with all our luggage wasn't going to trapse everywhere, so we pressed on eventually arriving at Lufthavn, the airport, without any ticket checks or places to pay. Proceeded on to Terminal 2 where we had to wait for an hour before the check-in counters opened, then after re packing luggage ...

We got the train back to the camp ground and bought some beers and food to cook for dinner. It was a bit of a struggle buying takeaway beers for the first time. The price on the slab was really cheap so we took it to the counter. What we didn't realise was that on top of this you have to pay for the bottles and also the crate that the beers come in. After a bit of a language barrier we were told that we needed to bring the bottles ...
Up at 0800 after a hot night. Breakfasted and packed. The Hotel Christian IV has been a great location and the service excellent. The pocket sized room is our only real grizzle. If any reader is contemplating here I suggest that you get a room overlooking the Garden. These are definitely more spacious and should be quieter. ... span. It was updated in 1923 for another 200 years. Shower of rain dampened things a bit in Lund. Then it was off to Malmo where weather cleared enough for a walk around the square. Hard finding a free toilet. Ended up buying food so we could use one. After Malmo, the bus took us for a tour around the city before heading back to Copenhagen. Cold, wet and windy at the ...
