    ... when we just sat down and, as one of our hosts so eloquently put it, 'drank some booze'! We were invited by some of the geography faculty at the University of the West Indies to join them for Friday drinks at their staff club, an open air bar around a pool in the middle of their spacious campus in the hills behind Kingston. The one 'problem', however, was that it was not a cash bar, account only, and of course as non-staff-members, we had no account...'not a problem at all, mon'! ...

    Today we are just cruising at sea, travelling from Colon, Panama to Miami via the West Indies and Bahamas. Quite time on the ship as I have a little diaharea, which has been going through the ship. Not too bad, but at Johnny's insistence went to the medical centre and was immediately confined to the cabin for 24 hours. Not so bad, as I feel ok but have been able to catch up on travel diary.
