Sunday was our first sea day. We spent the morning at the Sanctuary, which was a private area of the ship, at the front of the ship. We enjoyed sitting in the shade, watching the huge Turkish landscape go by, with its changing topography. I did not realize how large Turkey was! The ship sailed by Gallipoli, where the captain describe the battle where so many Australians lost their lives. He also asked for a moment of silence. Princess is an American line frequented by many ...

... over to Big Mikes for some food and a swim….everybody was wrecked. We decided because of our ferry departing time of 11am the next morning we would all have a quiet one. We had another sleep…til 7.30 and headed to dinner at the Hellenic Social Club. It was a really nice restaurant in Ios with some nice fine dining. We arrived at the port of Katakolon (South-western coast of Greece) at around 11:30am in beautiful sunny weather with hardly a cloud to be seen. We left ...

... places on earth and I completely agree. Tomorrow I have two days in Athens to look forward to which I will be sure to update you on.

Me again...after goodbyes from the tour I spent the morning roaming around the Plaka District, for a market lover like me it was heaven. I felt like it was broken into distinct categories, antiques, leather, alternative, jewellery and souvenirs. I had a ball just roaming for hours. The alternative section felt like a mini ...
