... this. It's common sense. I was so disgusted. We saw the national garden next to the Parliament so we went in to have a look, hoping to take some pictures of flowers. Sadly the only flowers you really see are the bed of them at the entrance. We tried looking for more but there wasn't any. The National garden is green everywhere with almost no flowers. ... and it was all pretty cheap (thank you recession!), not to mention, people were all to happy to give us free stuff. I got the classics, greek salad, goat cheese, gyros, etc. while my boys mostly stuck to McDonalds.
One more general thing, the feel of the city was different from any other city in Europe I have been to. Because of the recession (I'm guessing), the entire city felt more "Latin American" (Just incase you didn't know, I mostly rate ...
