So after my 4 hour transit in Frankfurt, my mind was spinning in a battlefield of "how did I get here?" “Holy **** I'm in Germany” and “Where is the closest disabled toilet stat!”
After collecting my bags, and rechecking them in for my next flight from Frankfurt to Athens, I made my way back up to the gate lounges and hung around, had a bite to eat and played archery with the not so consistent airport WIFI.
... and the Temple of Athena Nike. The Acropolis dominates the Athenian skyline and is a good reference point for navigating the small, winding streets that make up the Plaka.
Since the port is about 30 minutes away from Athens, we signed up for the ships 'Athens on your own’ tour. Like the one we did in KL, this one consisted of being driven to the town centre, getting a short introduction to the area, being given a map and told when/where to meet.

... with too many ducks and goose that they seem to have fought a lot as many of them have their wings damaged. There was no sight of any water nor food provided for them. Several peacocks were also caged in a much smaller cage that when they fully open their wings, the cage seems to be unable to contain them. ... hill from the Acropolis, we went into a store recommended by the tour guide. They had the standard jewellery and art, but they also had Greek name pendants. You give them your name and they will engrave your name in Greek in either silver or gold on one side of a pendant and in English on the back side.
