The flight had cost less than €100 in the first place! Oh dear! And there was no alternative. It left a bitter taste. ... We reached our platform with maybe 7 mins to spare, but then our carriage, being first class was right at the other end. We sat down about 3 mins before the train left - 1 minute early!! Phew!! Another easy train trip back to Florence arriving at 8:30pm.
The hotel has been just brilliant and I would recommend it to anyone. The rooms are a good size with room for bags as well as room to move; the bed is two singles joined together making it the size of a king bed; ...
