Hotel Veitsberg-Vitkova Hora Karlovy Vary

Time for a short one after that mammoth of a blog for Prague. Ha that rhymes.

Well we left Prague and had 2 choices. Down towards the town of Plzen, and the home of Pilsner beer, or up towards Karlovy Vary, famous for its natural healing waters and its spas. We chose Karlovy Vary since Chris had had his fill of beer in Prague and Plzen was a little out of the way. We have experienced Manitou and the Dead Sea, since we are here, we are going to Karlovy Vary to try out the waters. We have been looking online as to where we can float in the water, but there only seem to be spas who do all kinds of treatment, some with Dr.'s prescriptions. They also drink the water.

Went out on the bikes yesterday to explore town. Amazing - bus loads of tourists arrive here daily. Photos don't do it justice.

... 20 min outside town it was called Loket. We took a bus here and again this town had a river surrounding it like a moat and was only enterable by two bridges. The hostel was quite small only one bedroom with 12 bunks, that means snoring will most likely be a problem! And it was Nat could hardly fall asleep! The town only had a few buses a day so we also found ourselves tailoring our schedules around them. We ...

It is not a big trip actually, if I am not mistaken it is about 2 hours from Prague, however the whole trips is interesting because you drive throuh huge thick forests and hills with beautiful colorful hills on either side of the road.

A place that mustn't be missed!
