Next week in this class we are printing on ceramics. I am really excited to make myself my own set of dishes with a design on it. I will probably make 4 plates and 4 cups.     ... but it was HUGE and i got some super cool hand knitted socks that I'm excited to rock. they are super bright colored but really cool and the key: really warm :).Oh and there was the most disgusting thing i have ever seen. whole fried fish sitting charred on the grill for sale to eat, just fish chillen whole for you to grab and munch on. then next to it was a big bin of live fish so crowded in water if you want to buy them live. but not in any sort of sanitary capacity. gah. ...

    ... difficult to find things in common with people from such different backgrounds but so interesting when you do finally come to things in common. Most of our common ground comes from our love of art. Each day this week we have gone to a different museum. Right now they have a version of Guernica by Picasso thats pretty amazing at the museum of architecture. Back in the day Picasso visited Wroclaw and he gave them a whole collection on his pottery. Its pretty cool stuff.

    ... we were, with no coats, no umbrella and the heaviest rain imaginable, what were we to do? Bruce being himself ordered more beers prepared to wait it out, that didn’t help as an hour later the rain actually got heavier.
