... probably would've been ok as most places in Belgium take plastic, but I don't like to be without some cash. In Romania, it was very important!

Mechelen was cute, and they had a great market happening. I found the center ...

these ancient tapestries. After that, back to the barge for lunch, then
ventured out to try and see 2 Rubens. The first church was closed, but the 2nd

Have to pack tonight for my trip to Eindhoven tomorrow. But

We are walking 5 - 10km every day (today was probably the latter) and today was more challenging because there were hills involved (compared to Holland which was totally flat). Here are the highlights that are mainly shown through the pictures:

A proper introduction to an amazing city

... is wonderful. A couple days here looks like it will be a wonderful idea before we make our way to the next big city - the one and only Amsterdam. Everything is within walking distance, the people are nice, and the perks (chocolate, beer, waffles) are awesome. With a bit more planned for tomorrow, I'm excited to see what will come for us in the morning. Now with a local brew in hand, I bid thy readers farewell. Until tomorrow, cheers friends =)
