    ... devout hindus worshipped at their pavement shrines and huge loudspeakers blasted out the muslim call to prayer. Clearly this was different from any Cornish market.

    Now for the rickshaw. Lots of tuk-tuks and rickshaws packed the pavement, and it was an easy matter to obtain the service of any number of drivers.
