Today I had an early whale watching cruise booked so I ate breakfast, checked out of my hotel, and walked down to the harbor. I had never been whale watching before so I was excited to see some whales up close. I boarded a small boat and we sailed west out of the harbor. After a short while we spotted a large group of at least a dozen humpback …

After being away from Tyson, Riley, and Reznor for awhile it was nice to give some loving to a dog although the dog's name is eluding me now.

We had quite a few more kilometres to travel to our stop for the night, Blonduos. But like every day here the ever-changing scenery makes any drive a so interesting that the kilometres seem to fly by.

... the locals, some of whom were in national costume. One lady told Vicki not many people did so as it was too expensive. Still lots of people enjoying the buzz of the Independence Day, as they should. I’m sure I saw two similar trolls in Reykjavik, maybe they are related! Neat, John wanted to ask a mother if he could have photograph with her cute twin girls but decided he'd probably end up in jail. Vicki snapped a photo. Back to the car, after a very ...
