Lugano is a lovely little town on the side of a huge lake. It was a nice place to spend a couple of hours. We walked along the lake side, then got a hot chocolate. It was another wonderful thick 'ciocolatta'.

Back at our hotel we had dinner. It was pasta for entree, chicken schnitzel with potatoes and beans for main course and a lovely little cake for dessert. Tea and coffee ...

... our best meals yet….we all had fresh succulent fish caught and cooked this afternoon…and all so different and so tasty. We all ordered and swapped our dishes to get a taste of everything we had ordered… food was being eaten with sighs and gasps of appreciation from the four of us after every mouthful. ... a tunnel (which the directions had mentioned as being constructed during WWI) and coming out of the tunnel was a herd of goats. There was no farmer or herder, just 10 or 15 goats. Bit by bit they surrounded us. One tried to nibble my shirt. We headed through the dark tunnel with goats walking along with us.
