    The day started out pretty normal with clouds threatening and the odd drop of rain. Our goal today was to head over into France once again via the col de Balme, on the border of France and Switzerland. Well me made it, but not quite as planned...     ... 8220;gentle” is replaced with “grab the first floaty ring before someone grabs another to add to their collection of 17 as they go by”. It was AWESOME!!!!     Well Mardi Gras and Pancake Day have fallen on the same day so rather than choose between the two Helen and I did both!
    The scrapings of the cupboards and fridge held enought to make sugar and lime pancakes.
