We spent only 5 days in Switzerland (it ain't cheap!), and I loved it there. The country itself had overall a genuinely warm, kind vibe.
We stayed in the French-speaking region of the country, in a city called Lausanne, which is on the opposite side of the Lake from Geneva, and has apparently been called "the San Francisco of Switzerland."

... they are snobs cos I've barely had a dog look my way, let alone say hello or have a play. One more swim then it was home time to pack. Once home Miriko picked up his proper car from the garage whilst we showered and packed and got ready for our random ride to Geneva. ... you a complemantory glass of wine and some water. We decided to have a coffee and cake in the restaurant ( yes they have one of course ) instead. Met someone from Oz and also a couple of people from the UK. A lovely trip to the top.
