... walked for an hour to the middle station, returned to Beatenberg and took the funiculars down to the lakeside for the 90 min ferry ride to Thun a small town at the western end of the lake. A pretty town with walking streets, a castle and old church. We returned the same way. Pre dinner we had drinks once again on the terrace before what Bernhard called a simple meal.
