A nice gentle start on the slopes
... weird. I kept freaking out that I was going to miss the chance to grab my skis before the bubble disappeared. Skiing in Verbier is much higher than La Ros, Las Attelas is 2750ish not the 2250 I'm used to. It's a lot busier here too.

Camping high above Lake Thun
... We forgot that we told Basil Garmin not to go on toll roads ( which seemed to include the vignette as far as he was concerned ) and found ourselves on some very minor roads. A pain in the neck to drive on but some very scenic countryside. Came across some roadworks which buggered us up again as we did not know the detour and there was nothing to indicate the same.
