At the bus stop for half 11 and within 5 mins, a very round and cheery bus driver arrived and we hopped straight on (unhappy Prego had a muzzle on so no questions asked! But he didn't seem the type to be funny anyway... Lovely chap.) The mountains were all completely cloaked in fluffy clouds, a very different landscape from yesterday. Lovely ride into St Anton where we went straight to the Sport Cafe for a couple of coffees in the rain, under an awning. Then ...

We were woken at half 4 by rain and thunder so we brought Prego in. We dropped back off to sleep before being awoken again at 6ish by another storm. ... by cyclists and motorcyclists. Some of the Motorcyclist decked out in full leathers, knee and elbow sliders. They looked like they belonged on the race track. After the Hahntennjoch Pass we continued West to Warth then South to our destination at Lech, a mountain village and exclusive ski resort. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lech_(V orarlberg) The evening meal was in the Cable Car Resturant where we had a traditional Austrian cheese ...

... been slightly twitched at driving with sheer drops beside them on the right (whilst driving on the right of the road but on the right of the vehicle too) but for someone who's not great with heights, it was some bloody achievement. The diversion came at a time when Jon felt the van was losing power (we've since rationalised it was due to driving up a really steep mountain!) and we could hear odd noises from time to time. Add that together with no working ...
