We went home, fell asleep in a jet-lagged haze and Jane went out to snag some early clothes bargains which I was shown, but was too tired to recall..dress and a new jacket! Sleep came like a drug...the sun rises at 4am here though and so did Luke and I the following day!
... on our walk and sheer determination to reunite the duckling with its hapless parents, leaped over the fence in a bid to grab it. This in turn did the trick and within seconds, the little duckling had leapt onto the riverbank and was having cuddles with its mum. Mannie and I nearly melted with happiness that finally, it was safe. We could carry on our day knowing that the duckling wouldn’t be swimming hopelessly around a murky lake in a Danish theme park.
