This morning we had a quick breakfast of various odds and ends (bread, butter, ham, tomatoes, fruit, jam) because we couldn't be bothered to brave the morning chill and buy eggs for an omelette – it was -10 this morning. We then walked about 2.5 km down the main road to Copenhagen Zoo, which is where we spent most of our time today.

Being on my own now the next destination was Hamburg to stay with Claudine and Markus, the best hosts a traveller in Hamburg could have. I'm writing this entry on a train from Aachen (south-western germany) to Hamburg, and DeutschBahn has again screwed me with delays, but at least its not 2hrs on a platform in 35degrees this time. ...
