... coffee and the whole thing was over in about 40mins. There was a duty free shop, that had so much stuff in it it felt like the airport. It was great. We then went back down to our car, and waited for the green signal to leave again. It was funny watching people who forgot where their car was and had to quickly try and find it. Can happen very easily I imagine.

... shopping for our evening meal was next then a short stroll to investigate some of the cafes in our area. We found a cafe called Cafe Dan Turell 1977. Dan Turell was a controversial, unruly, experimental writer and poet who loved this city and its people. He was born in 1946 and died of esophageal cancer in 1946. Wendy and he share the same birthday 19 March.

She explained that during a Danish meal one would start with fish, then hot and cold types of meat, moving to bread, and finishing with cheese, fruits, and finally sweets and coffee. Eva prepared two types of herring, smoked salmon, shrimp with eggs, a hamburger type dish with onions, liver paste with mushrooms, a selection of cold meats and cheese, and an assortment of bread.
