... her in her decision to raise Little Bernice in Copenhagen. In fact, he loves Little Bernie as his own and regularly send emails from secret locations via a secure web site. In September 2008, Spike and Bernice were reunited in Copenhagen and made the trip of a lifetime to Paris, Provence, and Florence. Overcome by the romance of Paris - and a few glasses of Bordeaux - they became engaged at the Eiffel Tower, and had a whirl-wind ...
Copenhagen, Zealand, Denmark slbenton... we finally pulled up at central station with about ten minutes left to make it to our ferry. Luckily the ferry was visible from the window of the train as we arrived, so it was a sprint from the train station to the ferry terminal where we sweatily bought our tickets and were ushered on board by grumpy staff, angry because we had held them up for about thirty seconds. Once again we were in for a lengthy boat ride... 19 hours this time... The buffet on this boat was no ...
Copenhagen, Zealand, Denmark jimborussell... if I could get a bus pass, and they gave me the wrong one twice, and due to miscommunications , I once again got frustrated. What a day. Finally, they got it right, I was able to get my ticket, pick up my luggage, and go find the buses. I then got on the bus and hoped that I would arrive at the proper destination. I was supposed to arrive in London, Victoria, and I was supposed to meet up with my brother. However, the only information that ...
Copenhagen, Zealand, Denmark extremetraveler... and arrived in a dark, small, quiet area. There was no one around and not much light except for some streetlights up ahead. I saw a pizza place from across the street, and after a few minutes of walked around, seeing not a soul in sight, I was not positive what time Melissa's game ended (Basketball game) and/or what time she was going to be home, or what time she was planning on meeting me at the train station. After I waited for about five to ten minutes, I decided it ...
Copenhagen, Zealand, Denmark extremetraveler... not found an internet place to download any yet. I visited Tivoli gardens which is huge with a fair ground & watched the marching band. I saw the town hall,Nytorv square,Gammel strand which marks the medieval coastline with a small canal, the Round tower which is rather impressive, the Latin quaters,Nyhavn Port which has beautiful coloured houses like in Buenos Aires & some great cafe's ...
Denmark, Denmark simbah... said the ribs weren't great. On the side were soup pots so I asked what the soups were. Turns out one was their homemade BBQ sauce and the other was béarnaise. Something about the Danish is they love their béarnaise and put it on everything. I tried it and it reminded me of thick, lemony mayonnaise. Not horrible, but not my taste. After Tivoli our plan was to do a little shopping before heading back to the ship, but most of the stores close at 8:00. To late ...
Copenhagen, Denmark simru12... 17C), we got directions to where we needed to get on the cruise and bought our tickets. The boats leave every half an hour and we had missed one by 10 minutes so we sat at a little cafe by the canal and had a beer and took some photos to send to Jeff in his meeting! The cruise was lovely, taking us past both new and old parts of Copenhagen. They have a new Opera House on the edge of the canal that is so huge the roof is bigger than 2 football fields ...
Copenhagen, Zealand, Denmark annette_dutton... office. Took a photo with an international student counsellor who is also a student, Nicholas. Quite good-looking. Met Gerald and followed him to his hostel as he has not taken his breakfast. Visited his hostel. He told us he paid more for his accommodation to have a private toilet of his own. Not only is his toilet small, his room is rather small. His room is rather empty as well unlike us with some stuff leftover by previous tenant. The Botanic ...
Aarhus, Denmark ariel_europe... horrible overnight train ride from Krakow to Prague), and the guy put us in first class. Taylore had her own room and Chris and i shared a cabin. it was nice traveling first class with free breakfast, showers on the train, our own private little cabin, and having a bed to sleep in made a huge difference. Although waking up at 5:30 A.M. to get off at 6:00 was very hard. now we wait for our next train, i think i'll sleep on that one as well.
Copenhagen, Denmark bradentaylor84... at a restaurant called Wok Shop on Friday night and a terrible meal at a Mexican Restaurant called Mama Rosa on Saturday night. I don't know when we were last at a restaurant that was that bad! What were we thinking when we tried Mexican food in Copenhagen? If we had to do it over I think we might opt for Danish cuisine. We are flying to Helsinki this evening...
