... a lot of glass and car parts. The tire came from under my van and I have always had to get help to remove it-It is bolted in tight, or it was! My back bumper and step part are pushed under the car and some small damage to the back door that we can see, but it hit so hard it jammed the passenger door and is very hard to open and later while driving, the door just popped open! ... cruise was beautiful if chilly depending upon where the boat was.
We did the pub visit too although I have forgotten the name of the pub. There were typical British foods - things like Ploughmen's Lunch and Beef & Guinness Pie - and I think most of us came away with left-overs.
Of course I did not get an opportunity to write this right away and I have forgotten the details. But what I do remember is how much Dad would have enjoyed this in the past.
The conference was held at the same Marriott where I fell and broke my ankle in 2006. Not fond memories of this place! We did have fun, though. ... went and picked up a few more groceries and then came back to camp. After lunch, I took Dolores out for an eleven plus mile ride. I took my usual Granite Trail run, but then joined the Bluff Trail and eventually the Pemberton Trail. A great workout, with lots of folks in the area, both hiking and cycling. I had water and some of Lynnie's "sick candy" with, so survived with flying colors.
