Hotel Valhalla Ans Fredrikstad

It was on the island called Nord-koster me and my wife used to stay when we were younger. We came here 17 summers in row from our children were small.
Today we should go from Ekenäs to the northern island and take the cable ferry that runs between the two islands. It is no more than an hour to walk and it was a great trip.

We stayed at the Ekenäs hotel which you can see right at the place where the ferry arrive at Syd-Koster. It is a nice hotel.

It was surprisingly mild when we arrived at Gardemoen (airport) on this morning. None of us slept much on the plane. It is always surreal setting down into a new country. We continue driving and found our first choice for camping, the weather is better then we could have hoped for and Susanne and I debated on staying here. After an hour we decided we still had lots of daylight to find another spot, so here we go.
