13th + 14th -Kawaguchiko + Mt Fuji
Day 1 arrived and went down to lakeside for evening shots of Fuji. Most restaurants closed (?!) so had Lawson's takeout for dinner. Fuji-san is so eye-catching. The snow had partially melted so we didn't quite get the classic shot of it in our photos, but still ...

I'm in Tokyo at the Narita Airport. Today has been a longgggg day already and it's only 4:15pm (Sunday). My flight boards at 4:50pm so I had enough time to eat my last Japanese meal. I am very very sleepy. So I'm pretty sure I will sleep as soon as I sit down on the plane. I'm getting more and more excited to get back ...

Finally we headed off trying to find somewhere to have a late feed before a big sleep. Narita is a very sleepy little joint, when in comparison to Tokyo, or even Osaka, so it was hard to find exactly what we wanted. We thought we had found the perfect spot to grab some Okonomiyaki only to be told "we're closed!" by the old duck inside! We got some gyoza, rice and egg and karage from a chain style Izakaia and left it at that. Slept like babies.

... 1 half miles into town...and we totally surprised at how quaint it was. Spent lots of time exploring the the town before walking back to the ship. Just before we boarded we noticed another shopping center right off the pier. We had to investigate it. It was a 1000 Yen Store aca. $1.00 Store!!! Had fun looking around in it. This was the store where we ran into lots of crew members...buying all their supplies! That evening the ship sailed at 6:00PM. I was scheduled ...

... trip with Japan Airways, even though we haven't even landed yet �� I did not think that I would love flying this much! I don't love the turbulence, like my honey does, but the rest of it is great. Only thing I wish is that I knew when I was looking at clouds or at snowy hills! I joked about it earlier but when we were flying over Canada and Alaska and Russia I never knew it I was seeing the land or not ...
