... songs over and over again on our iPods. Me and Sheeno were fortunate enough to get seats beside each other but Gilly had no such luck. He had to sit beside an enormous woman who he said took up at least a third of his seat and the whole arm rest. At every opportunity he was giving out yards about his situation but it couldn't have happened to a more deserving person. Had a horrible sleep on the ...

The reason we decided to go to this place was because we read that the nightlife was supposedly brillaint and it also had plenty of nice beaches. Our first impressions of the place was that it was fairly upmarket. The main street wouldn't have been out of place in somewhere like Vale De Lobo and was lined with lovely shops and restaurants. Sheeno claimed it was voted the nicest street ...

    Arraial d'Ajuda

... I waited and waited. I sat in the hammock and read my book for nearly 2 hours. Then a man emerged, he had obviously been sleeping. Without much of a sorry he got me checked in. I wasn't very impressed. I had read good reviews about the staff and I didn't think much of him. He didn't speak English so it was hard for me to communicate with him too. I dumped my stuff and went for a wander to find water and to check out the place a bit. It looked like a fun ...
