... my flight from Brazil to Argentina and had some problems so mum and papa came to the rescue and called the airline and it all got sorted. Thank god for you two.! I then got my stuff together and headed to the little beach just about 10 minutes from my hostel. I didn't think much of it. It was very full of sea weed and I didn't even go in the water. I think at high tide it would have been nicer. So I just read my book and sun bathed. About 2.30 I went back to ...

... to Trancoso, we walked the Quadrado, the town square with the third oldest church in Brazil and full of overpriced shops and restaurants. We ended up finding a great place to eat with a chef named Vito. His claim to have the best burgers (we could add about ten different toppings from bacon, avocado, cheeses, etc) in Brazil did not disappoint! They were so good, Dean and Michael ate them again the second night (after Michael got his sushi appetizer fix at a different place). Day ...

Today I packed up all my things to go to another city in Brazil. I am starting to really like the idea of staying somewhere different every night. This time I am staying in Trancoso. I made my way down to Natives beach ...

... here is pure blue and sea tropical green. Lushness!

That night I'm told there is a party going on at 'Axe (pronounced Ah-jay) Moi' a massive semi-outdoor club / gig venue somewhere near the hostel on the beach road. It doesn't start until eleven though and I'm still knackered from being up all night flying, so decide not to go. Also, the tickets were 180 Reals which is mental considering my daily budget (which I'm now rigorously sticking to) is only 110 Reals. ...

... 3 lads, the owner brought us an extra mattress so we'd effectively have a bed each - Rees drawing the double - and we made ourselves at home. We spent the next 2 days exploring the small town and hanging out on the beach. We watched the Australia Netherlands game, which featured Tim Cahill's cracking goal, in a small bar on the beach next to 5 Aussies, Foz bought everything he could from sellers on the beach until he was literally cashless, we chatted to a few locals who loved ...
