Zakros gorge is slap known as gorge if the dead, as there are a lot if caves that have in historic times used as burial tombs. The first place we tried was pretty much under water, a sign saying No Camping made us laugh, only the sea scouts could have camp there, they do pitch their tents on water, don't they? ... t find a launderette, but there was a barbers shop open, Les desperately needs a hair cut. Whilst we waited for his turn the owner served us coffee and we were able to use his wifi. The cut was soon done and Les now 'looks like the man I married'. ... a few smaller speed boats and yachts and some children just back from sailing were washing off a their of toppers, We walk back around to the harbour and decided it would be a nice place to stay for the night. Tomorrow the town will be open and we can explore further.
