... first. It was an old building with large halls inside fronting a large courtyard, gardens, and waterfront. Stockholm, like Geneva, was a very expensive city so we were "picking our battles" or attractions to spend money to see. ... hostel is that it is on an enormous, masted schooner right in the middle of the river, overlooking Gamla Stan, the historic center of Stockholm. ... a quiet one the night before we were due for a night out in the town so pre-drinking was undertaken via a potent round of punch. Had a pretty fun night out in the city from what I can remember!

... viewable from the ship which are pretty neat. In addition you get to see an amazing sunset every night if you wish to which we did this night. We also played a little roulette and won a little money playing the blacks (see the photo). It's too bad we didn't start playing earlier as there was a string of 25 straight black numbers :0. Oh well off to our next stop, back to Copenhagen and then a flight to the UK.
