It was a good basic hotel. The WIFI was a bit patchy, and the breakfast was very basic, but the rooms were clean and comfortable. The location was a bit out of town.

This Hotel has a claim to four thinks that three would be more appropriate.......
Still it fits all that you would need.

Today we flew to "Le Fin de Mundo", Ushuaia in the Tierra del Fuego province of Argentina. It is southernmost city in the world. The key here is the word city* as Chile actually has a town further south, but that doesn't matter to the Argentinians. The flight into the airport was a bit bumpy due to the wind in this area. It is common for planes to …

The weather was sketchy today and we woke up with the mountains filled with snow. What else to do on a ****** day but scope out museums. First choice was the maritime museum which was housed inside the old Ushuaia jail. We walked down, entered after paying the 110 peso fee ($10) and first found ourselves in the Antactic expedition part of the museum which detailed the early voyages and the ships on which they were done. Also detailed here were early maps done by the ...

... tell me to get lost, but they were the complete opposite. After finding out I was feeling under the weather they told me to lay down by the wood stove and not move, they offered me nonstop tea and water and the son even kept trying to persuade me to let him get his wife, who is a doctor. Knowing that the bug was only a 24 hour thing I assured him id be fine. That night they invited all the group to bring their mats and sleeping bags inside ...

      ... pictures.

We then started our hike along the coast trail along Lapataia Bay, which was about 6 or 7 km. Norbi, the guide, made sure to stop several times for great views and to explain the human and natural history of the area. For someone, like me, this was a great opportunity to learn more about the local natural history and a real treat, compared to other tours we could have taken, or hiking on our own. I enjoyed it and was glad ...
