It was a good basic hotel. The WIFI was a bit patchy, and the breakfast was very basic, but the rooms were clean and comfortable. The location was a bit out of town.

This Hotel has a claim to four stars......me thinks that three would be more appropriate.......
Still it fits all that you would need.

Today we flew to "Le Fin de Mundo", Ushuaia in the Tierra del Fuego province of Argentina. It is southernmost city in the world. The key here is the word city* as Chile actually has a town further south, but that doesn't matter to the Argentinians. The flight into the airport was a bit bumpy due to the wind in this area. It is common for planes to …

They all have Aussie kangaroo stickers and NSW, QLD or Victorian numberplates and are on an epic trans America drive from the far north to far south of these continents. A nice touch for Australia Day to see evidence of the Aussies adventuring so far from ...

The opportunity to strip off in near freezing temperatures and plunge into the sea where the temperature may be even lower (sea water freezes at around -1.5C) so you can get a certificate confirming that you’ve done it, is too much for a few to resist (including me – after all, I did it in the Arctic so plunging into the Southern Ocean ...

After a well-deserved nap, we had a 6pm briefing with the Quark representative. She gave us quite a bit of information and then opened the floor for inquiries. We board tomorrow afternoon, so this was our time to allay any ...
