Awake at 0600 dressed, breakfast & left at 0830 for our morning trip to Salzburg. And sunshine as we leave Innsbruck. As we leave onto motorway there is quite a blockage on the oncoming side ( fortunately ) trucks ++ probably due to a religious holiday tomorrow. Trucks are not permitted on highway on weekends or public holidays. We arrived in Salzburg 10am after a short toilet stop just before. As we were too early to check into our hotel we met a ...

This is my favorite country so far! The train ride here through the Alps was outstandingly beautiful! I would move here in a minute if I could! The locals tell me the only way to move here is to get an Austrian boyfriend first haha. We did not get into Salzburg until late afternoon. We went to go to the shopping district that is only a 10 minute walk from our hotel, but found all the stores close early at 6 pm! We ...

... pay our respects to those who lost their lives at the hands of the Nazi regime. A cold, dark, dirty and terrible place made us all realise just how lucky we are that we didn't have to try and survive in these disease ridden conditions. The bullet holes in the cement walls and scratch marks in the gas chambers will be something I'll never forget. From there we continued forward to Prague, (the hidden city.) Until then, ...
