... some bananas, that's it. We visited with Martin's neighbors along the way, met Gato's parents and returned for coffee and cake. While I practiced the Mexican life by sitting outside watching the people and traffic, saying "Buenas Dias" to everybody, Israel pulled up so I went with him to pick up smoke supplies and then to his shoe factory. We had a nice visit. Martin came by, saying it was time to go to The Pyramids. Ok. I'm game.

Of in the car we go, five of ...

... or four large swimming pools, tennis
courts, water slide, laundry and limited wi fi. I find them a little costly for
a Mexican RV park. They cost $6, 300 ($500 US) pesos a month or $1,650 ($125) a
week. It would be a bargain in the U.S.,

When we arrived on
Thursday, there were about 10 or 12 RV’s in a separated area of about 50 ...

Lucy got up really early the next day so we could have a nice breakfast before leaving to the airport. What an ...

... a plaza. The area still has the Old World charm and the Mexican ambiance, which is what we like to see. The only difference here is that just about anywhere you go, you will come across a “gringo”, like we did at a local coffee shop in the plaza. Americans, Canadians and Brits gathered for morning coffee.

We are staying at the Roca Azul RV Resort on the west side of Lake Chapala. They are considered a luxury resort and ...

A CHAT WITH PETER ABOUT RUMS

... of Leon, the capital of the state of Guanajuato.

At 0940, we veered off from Leon to head further west on 110 kph road. There is some ranching but mostly crops, strawberries big in the area. The roads were drying, a hopeful sign. 0956 toll booth and a loo break for some, Denise asking Ian for some pesos. The acid test for the recovery of Alan and Peter will be minimum a beer; maximum, tequila. Off again at 1004, having described the three trailer Australia ...
