... Lawrence and her friend Carol who were in town for a Tango workshop fired up Tango music and danced the night away. In addition to teas and coffee offered by the establishment the customers also enjoyed beer, wine and a good selection of home made desserts. Don't miss the carrot cake! After considering the options (few), we decided to re-run our crossing of the plain near La Ventosa, hoping that the “occasional” strong wind event we had met a few days earlier had passed. ... year. It was a nice day and evening for all of us.

It was Carnaval weekend so there were lots of things going on. We went to Chapala and observed preparations for the big party while drinking margaritas in Cristiana Park. We climbed up to the chapel in the mountains and walked along the malecon, saw the art shows at the Cultural Center and visited the Six Corners. The sun was back so we just enjoyed being in it.

Today is the organic farmers market. Last week I bought gorgeous "Gentleman's Slipper" tomatoes which yellow dotted with pink and as sweet as a peach!! You can get dead ripe tomatoes here any time of the year!
