      ... didn't, scooters were parked across other scooters blocking them in, it was madness. I idled in the entryway trying to figure out what to do, and as I did, a guy in a scooter put his helmet on, drove off and left a gap. Jess stood in the gap, but now I had the problem of getting to that gap. The gap was just to the left of the entry way, but between me and the gap were two scooters parked in invented spots that meant I couldn't physically fit the bike between them. If ...

      ... where we will connect with another train to Firenze and then a third train to Venice that arrives according to our ticket at 2:20pm. That’s not too bad really; however the downside was that we could not use or alter our original ticket. They were only good for note paper and not very good for that since they already had writing all over them. So they were discarded and we begrudgingly handed over another 250 Euros for our new tickets.

      ... We then arrived late to dinner, however the meal ended up making up for it. Lots of pasta, chicken and cake. After a good sleep, we left early again for the ferry over to the floating part of the city. It started with a boat ride to the main part.       I am sitting on the fast train at the train station waiting to take off at great speed for home. We have spent the last 2 days in one of the most beautiful cities I have ever seen!       ... developed the skill of a gondolier and as we were on the water taxi tour, we passed by her and I could not resist but shouted loudly ---......Aussie Aussie Aussie. She smiled!
      Dinner and ferry back to St Marc's square for a late wander to find a number of great string quartets playing music to the delight of the crowds. As we listened to a great classical piece I asked Tiffany what tune it was. It's The Titanic dad. It was a long but enjoyable day.
