    Finally we had a day when I was feeling really fit and well, Treacle seemed well and the weather was gorgeous, so I took off on a walk that would encompass a hermitage and old castle, and old village with ancient church and some Roman ruins.     ... all sorted so we could shower. Very important! !
    In cafe now trying 2.50 pint for research purposes.
    The frontier with Spain is just at edge of Andorra la vella and its a long way to Spanish coast up and down many mountains. You would want good brakes and not be scared of sheer drops at edge of road.
    It must be beautiful during skiing season but I would recommend it in Summer too they have a lot of building crammed into gaps between the hills. ...

    ... pass and then a closed road and then to another un-passable pass. Eventually we got to the B&B and were shown to our attic room with mountain views. The hostess advised if I stood on the bed and looked out the skylight I could see the mountains! Next thing was that in only about one third of the room was it possible to stand upright. Pat and I both hit the ceiling a few times. For other reasons as well this had one the title of worst accommodation ...

    ... decided to come over to France because there were decisions to make on the Chateau. She was coming through Barcelona so we picked her up from the airport, as we were in the area. Only two hours away. We stayed a night in Andorra, and looked at tiles for the Chateau the next day.
    There are a couple of red tape setbacks for the renovation, so Karina might not get as much achieved this year as hoped.

    ... shutters and standing on top of a ridge. Sitting on the terrace having lunch and looking across at the range of the Pyrenees was spectacular even if the weather was rather hazy. What a beautiful spot!!
