on the hunt for somewhere nice to stay I was heading down a pass when I came
across this little town with what looked like a brand new railway station had

The dock at Chateau de Chillon is only about a three minute walk from the castle. I walked to the entrance and bought my ticket (CH$12.50) and went inside. I didn’t bother with an audio guide (an extra CH$6) but just wandered through the various rooms, reading some of the displays in each one. If I need any information, I’m sure it will be on the internet.

It was quite disturbing as we had come for a race and we didn't want to hear that !!! Thankfully, three hours later, they arrived, so we grabbed a car and headed over to Lausanne.
