... it must've been ****, and we completely agreed. Despite them giving us our day free, we only took the bus one stop today, and decided it'd be quicker walking everywhere, and abandoned the tour all together (we had already done the loop yesterday though). While we were a little disappointed that the festival wasn't on, it probably wasn't the worst thing as we were all a bit tired, so after walking along the banks of the river we headed back to the hotel and to bed. In Frankfort very little of note. We had to walk forever to get to our gate but we had plenty of time. Left about 45 minutes late but made it up. This flight was 5 hours so this time I watched a movie and slept just a little. Another decent meal. The screen shot photos proved we weren't in Kansas any more. When the plane landed out came the scarves. Waited forever for luggage. All in all the 22 hours it took to get here went by ...

Faced with a brutal travel day, we got up early and had coffee with Herr Hocher, the inn owner, in his hotel dining room. He asked if I wanted some schnapps to get the day going. I declined. Probably too hastily.
