Woke up to the horrible news of yet another tragedy for Malaysian airlines. What is it with us a disasters every time we travel?

... and bistro so we decided to stay in for the evening. The boys enjoyed the local dish of curryworst while Lisa and i decided to stick with a pizza. Another grey day dawned but we slept through it'! Fabulous breakfast with pots of great coffee, good food, great company. We stashed a sausage or two and a couple of packets of who knows what. A short 15 minute drive took us to Zollverein, an UNESCO heritage site where some very clever people have taken an old coal ...
