Today we packed our bags and headed off to the airport. We got to the airport with plenty of time to spare. We checked in, got through security.... after they closely inspected Matt PSP (Playstation Portable games - little disks), finally working out that they were games once seeing the pictures on them. After another good breaky at the hotel, we cruised into the city again and went on a boat ride around the Spree River (kind of nice, but too touristy). ... find. At about 1 we hit up a bar nearby that played olde style music, like 50s, 60s ish style. Spent the rest of the night there dancing, drinking and talking. Very nice and great people. I got home at 6am and today just packing packing packing. All in all exchange has been good. ... I am a better German driver because of it. I am not defensively afraid of everyone else on the road because, I now own it. ... you notice the facades of the stone structures you can find a lot of visible bullet holes from machine gun fire. Some structures have histories of the roofs caving in from bombings, there's a church where the steple was broke in two and caved in partially and they have kept it that way. Et møte med et tidsvitne
Etter frokost dro vi til Sachsenhausen, tror jeg. Det var her de fleste av de norske fangene satt. Så spiste vi middag i Fürstenberg, føre vi dro videre til kvinneleiren Ravensbrück. Det er vanlig å ha med seg et tidsvitne når man drar med aktive fredsreiser. Mens vi var på Ravensbrück var det også andre busser der. Og i en av disse var tidsvitne Inger Gulbrandsen (tror jeg).
