    ... modern with stainless vats etc. In the basement they aged the wine in huge oak barrels for 2-3 years. The smell of fermenting wine was incredibly strong and not really very nice. We were slightly concerned to see gas masks hanging near the door but I guess it happens. Their best wine, Ovello, was lovely and having drunk some with dinner last night I had to buy a few bottles.     Suddenly a common face pulled up on a scooter. It was Paolo. He sat down and had a drink with us. Then we were joined by another guy named Davide (he used to work with Davide too) until we realised how late it was and that tomorrow we had to wake up at 6am because we were going to VENICE!!! :D
