Deciding that just one more beer at the campsite was in order, I sat down to enjoy another ‘unfiltered’ something and Jase, giving into his urge for a quick laugh, ordered a Duff (just like Homer Simpson drinks) – apparently brewed in Germany.

... On the drive from Munich we passed fields that had these telegraph poles staked in massive grids with plants growing up wires strung between them up to a grid of wires that formed a type of roof. We did not know what crop it was until we did the brewery tour. Apparently the crops were hops, the best hops in the world that are used in the Pilsner beer. The beer is bottom filtered and triple fermented with the hops (so we were told) ...
