al the former eastern bloc countries make for good travel,, but the one that i return to is the czech republic,, mainly to the north [north bohemia],liberec, harrochov, cesky raj, but a trip or two to moravia is also worth taking,,. during the communist times it was an eye opener, now also as the people wish for the return of those times, they knew where their bread was coming from, and the upgrades fron old skoda to super fast motorcars,, ah they stilll are crazy on the roads

Opet se me dotazovali coze se to stalo s mym ...
Praha, Czech Republic gabifilova... and then back to our compartment. We arrived into Prague as expected at 9.55pm. I had arranged for a car to pick us up - a luxury I normally wouldn't bother with but given the lateness of the hour and the chill of the night I thought it would be a good idea. The driver turned up a few minutes late causing only momentary panic. We drove through the streets of Prague and I noticed how grand it all looks. Despite how late it was the streets were still crawling with ...
Prague, Bohemia, Czech Republic guykb... I would be ready to travel more. I am often asked to point out the best experiences from my travels, to pick my favourite countries or places or things I did. To tell something about the trip. It is so hard to sum up three months of life in a few sentences. Its impossible. But I try. My favourite countries were Bolivia and Brazil. I was already in ...
Prague, Czech Republic koutinka... minibar" cart came around and provided us with coffee, tea or hot chocolate, a mini cake, sandwiches and a cold drink for free (because we're in 1st class). I'm typing this part of the update on the laptop, plugged into the train, and may take advantage of the onboard music system... if they turn it on. Overall I'm enjoying the train, but in a similar way to the Prospector back home. It's a great train, setting out to achieve good things but it is limited to only 160km/h ...
Prague, Czech Republic v1213... Then they took out their "English-Bulgarian" dictionary and awkwardly explained that we had to discreetly slide the money in the fine and give it back...Anywhere in the world, it's the same technique! The fine was 100 euros but we finally settled for 10 usd! Not bad... When we found a reasonable hotel on the "pest" side of the city, it got dark quickly and so we jumped into our winter clothes and walked around town ...
Prague, Czech Republic caprile... as we have seen other cyclists going our way. We cycled along with an older couple for a while from Germany and had a chat with them and then later that day we met 2 girls our age from Canada doing a very similar route at a similar pace so we cycled together the next morning until our routes seperated. We are now in Czech Republic, as you have probably guessed. We got a stamp at the border! The scenery around the border was amazing, lots of stunning cliffs and castles. We both found ...
Prague, Czech Republic rachel10... I unfortunately had classes - so I suggested that My family go to Rye ( a cute little sea town which is very movie-esque English) while the HC girls took advantage of sleeping in at my flat! That evening we had a huge and wonderful Thanksgiving dinner at a seafood place in Brighton called English's - it was the best! The next day we headed into London, we went to two really wonderful dinners in London - one at a really fun Moroccan Place and Sunday night ...
Prague, Czech Republic caits1286... I have visited in all of Europe. It is packed full of history & information on Judaism. Not to mention, the synagogues are absolutely beautiful. I apologize if it seems like I took the easy way out by not giving a summary of each place, but like I said, I don't have the time nor energy to really to so. I can't keep force-feeding you guys this information anyways....Haha. We'll see what tomorrow has to bring for me...
Prague, Czech Republic aaronm58... bags. I wondered along with them, attached as I was to Marie-Louise. I was going to leave my bag in for another few hours, because after I saw them off I was going to go to an Internet cafe to get my reservation number for my flight. Of course, this is when I noticed my locker was open, and all of my possessions were missing. I frowned. I checked the combination - it was one of those annoying ones where you have to set the wheels to your own combination. It was set to my ...
