... When we got to the city we were back to the crazy driving again. Baba and I said to each other no wonder you can always here ambulance sirens! I'm not sure if I mentioned earlier, but there are also zebra crossings everywhere, but you pretty much have to cross like a normal road, cars don't stop! Day 12 - some time in the snow!

... through the snow and it felt magical (I've been using the word a lot, but it's the best way to describe) as it sprinkled onto my face. The houses all had thick layers of snow covering their roofs, where some of then the snow had slid down where they may have been cooking. A charming little city with a huge cathedral and nice historic part around Market square. It already speaks German about itself although it's on the very border with Poland (in fact, it’s half-Polish) and despite that it’s Eastern Germany actually.

... moesten zijn met Škoda. We gingen naar het museum. En de opslag. En de fabriek. En het duurde lang en het was niet interessant, maar in het museum stonden wel erg mooie oude modellen. Toen nog gemaakt door Laurin en Klement, die waren begonnen met fietsen en bromfietsen. Na de eerste wereldoorlog werd de fabriek al overgekocht door Škoda dus toen was het gedaan met de pret. We hebben gezien hoeveel auto's er per uur worden gemaakt (50) ...
