Teplice Nad Metuji
We had a very early start to the day - 7:10am! We were off to the train station for our 4 hour, 3 train journey to Teplice nad Metuji. The time went by pretty fast, and before I knew it we were in the countryside surrounded by nature! We grabbed some lunch and then started our 6km hike through the national park. There is a 1.5km trail to a 4.5km loop, which is where the fun really starts! Along the first part of the trail is a climb to a lookout ...
Fun Day at the Coal Mine
... later we arrive at the mine and got more good news! We all got to ride down into the bottom of the mine in a modified dump truck. It had a little room with seats in it on the back where the bed should have been. So we started to go around the mine and we got out at a lookout point. The mine was huge! The worker told us that they had to destroy 5 villages to create the mine. Then the fun really started because this big ...

...and there is still a lot to do. I still have to move my stuff from my flat to my mothers place, write a sample for an application and meet with as many of my friends as possible before I leave. I also have to plan my birthday- and farewellparty.

... ein bisschen Freizeit und kann mich weiter dem Organisieren widmen. Das meiste ist allerdings schon gemacht. Ich habe mein Visum, einen Internationalen Führerschein, den Reisepass und damit ist mein Rucksack schon ziemlich schwer ;-) Es ist ziemlich interessant, sich zu entscheiden, was man so dringend braucht, dass man es ein ganzes Jahr lang mit sich rumtragen will...und das wäre deutlich einfacher, wenn es in Neuseeland keine Jahreszeiten geben würde^^
