... as we sailed in to the the sunset, Rome bound. It's now 8pm and we've just returned to our cabin after a full day out. A quick shower next, some food somewhere (unsure where yet) possible movie and then bed. It's a 7am dock in the morning and we need to be off early if we are to try and get to Rome. It's an hour and a half from the dock by train and we don't have a trip booked, we're on our own. That could be fun. If there's no blog tomorrow night, were lost ...

Like I've said before these last two islands are more resort islands than we had imagined. So, we aren't getting much exercise but truly enjoying the ...

... viewing the jellyfish that were sheltered in one of the coves. It included a stop at a local beach which looked rather gray and rocky compared to Grand Bend. The tour would have been perfect if only the boat captain (and tour guide) had spoken some English! After our return, we had a picnic lunch overlooking the water in Porto. To wear off some of our lunch we hiked up the hills to the Genoese tower that overlooks Porto, to have a beautiful view of the town. Peter ...

... we were driving at 30 km/hr. The traffic was very light so we had no problem in taking our time and stopping en route wherever there were good views of the cliffs and sea. We stopped for a mid-morning coffee/tea at a hotel/restaurant set up in the hills among beautiful trees and flowers and a wonderful view. Part of the road on the last half of our journey was quite spectacular with a very narrow ...
