Der Boss kommt - Bruce Springsteen Down Under!
In den tour-freien U2-Jahren muss man auf Alternativen ausweichen.
Seit Tagen/Wochen wurde drüber spekuliert und seit heute steht fest: BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN spielt ab Mitte März 4 Konzerte (Zeit genug für mehr wäre vorhanden) in Australien.
Stationen sind Brisbane, Sydney, Victoria und Melbourne:

... burger for dinner before heading back to the hotel. The hotel has a 'wellness centre' with an indoor pool, many saunas and relaxation areas. Ash was keen for a sauna but Lauren wasn't. Ash went up by himself and had a Finnish sauna experience. We had an early night ready to get up early to take a few more photos in the morning before getting the 10.36 train to Munich. Innsbruck was great! We would definitely like to come back again ...

Our second day and last day here we were hoping for a real clear sunning day, and lucky for us we got it! Heading up to the summit of the alps by cable car and then gondola took about 20minutes. Once we got up there, as you can imagine, the view was stunning. Far in the distance you had a nice clear view of the hills with snow and underneath that the city with the river running through. It was weird how it wasn't cold at all, even though we were that high up and surrounded ...

... here they might as well keep it open. 38 Euro for the room which is fantastic compared to that other rip-off hotel and I get breakfast in this one!!
Tomorrows plan is to get about half way to Amsterdam and stopover somewhere along the way. It’s about 600 miles to Amsterdam and could be done in a day but it’s not worth it as I would miss the 17h30 ferry to Newcastle and would have to stay in Amsterdam another night anyway.

... festivities and celebrations. Having explored the town a bit, we also picked up a sacher torte and apfelstrudel for desert back at camp. Sacher tortes, a regional specialty, are a soft, dry chocolate cake topped with a layer of chocolate. Both desserts were really delicious and I’m slowly coming to the conclusion that there is no such thing as a bad patisserie in Europe – there is only good, excellent, and mouth-watering. ...
