... ordered some meat, and appetizers. The food was good, but I could not enjoy it because of the lack of air conditioning and the sweltering heat.

To my disappointment, it was another failed day of searching for the large rodent (Capybara). We had only one day left to find this critter. I was exhausted from a late night before, and a long day of work and travel. Tomorrow we will make our final visit to the largest plant on the river.

... big plate of fish with lime, and the traditional Brazil staples of rice, beans and farofa (Mum, just to make you cry, I saw that the limes here were 80cents a kilo!!). It was a lovely last evening, sat under a big tropical tree, in the beautiful square all lit up.

I can’t tell you how much we have loved Bahia. It has been the most amazing 3 weeks. My views of Brazil have totally changed. In fact, there haven't been many things about Brazil that have ****** ...

... of having, like there are people in England with that kind of money, but there are also people that struggle everywhere, like those in the favelas of Rio and the equivalent in England; stereotyoes are misleading and I felt it was important to say that.

... the treck up the beach and go see the friendly Italian guy we first stayed with..not taking into consideration the power of the early morning sun, or that we might have to swim across rivers to get there, we set off with out any sun cream.witch wouldn't be so much of an issue for nala but i was about to get toasted...we walked up what seemed to be a never ending stretch of beach every so often we'd hit these tributary's where streams of water flowed down ...
