Today we caught the Eurostar from London to Paris. It took 2hrs 15mins, and goes under the English Chanel. The country side was really nice, and the underwater part wasnt too long, to Sam's delight. We spent the afternoon at the Eiffel Tower, we lined up for about an hour and caught the Elevator up (because of our gammie knees). It was really windy …

Bonjour! We are in our last day in Paris and have found an internet cafe to use finally! I am going to attempt to upload some pictures and hopefully save the ones I have also....let's hope I don't lose them all this time.

... And then some fusion kompa (Haitian music) and then I heard Drake? It was a little off putting for what I thought was gonna be typical French fare. My meal was an onion soup, boeuf bourgignon, with a dessert of chocolate mousse.

Not the best I’ve ever had, but it was good for the price we paid, and was definitely better than the burgers we had been ...

... of photos, probably too many, but it was a wonderful experience we both enjoyed. We didn't leave until 8.30 and as we walked down the Parc du Champ de Mars to our metro station we looked back and the tower lights were lit up for the evening. A marvellous spectacle to end the day.
We found a lovely Spanish restaurant just near out hotel and enjoyed Spanish drinks and food.
Very sore feet and tired legs from all the walking, more to do tomorrow,

After a long day of trains from Freiburg to Paris, we finally reached Charles de Gaulle airport. We had decided on a hotel close to the airport as it would make it easier to catch our flight home.     Comfortable Budget Hotel with Best possible location

    Stayed here in March 2013, Excellent location, budget hotel but very comfortable. Excellent eateries near by and walking distance from Invalides, Ecole Militaire Metro station and of course the Eiffel
