Went for a walk down through the town for late brekky/lunch. Come back to hotel about 1300 and started to pack suit cases and get things organized for our journey up to visit Ricarda in Greifswald. Had a afternoon nap. Went down to bar at 1800 and caught up with Narelle n Gerrard from Darwin. Had tea with them in hotel and went back to their room until midnight. Great night ...

For dinner we went to the Crazy Daisy, where we sat outside with blankets and heat lamps. I had the Wiener Schnitzel, which was excellent. We spent the rest of the evening enjoying the wonderful Steinbock Apartment, as it was our last night there.

... of the drive began in a valley only about 30 minutes south of Zell am See, where we were staying Our view at first was just tree-covered mountains with a couple of snow-capped peaks in the distance. But little did we know how far up we would go! The road first ascended up through the valley pretty gradually, but then it switch-backed up and over the top of one of the sides.

At the top of the ridge was the Haus Alpine Naturschau (Alpine Nature Show Museum). It was ...
