... we thought his art was interesting, but overrated. Overall, our experience was wonderful. Jack thinks the building is itself a stunning work of art, inspiring awe while standing both inside and out. If you ever get a chance, it is worth a detour. After visiting the Guggenheim, we returned to the hotel, picking up a sandwich at a supermarket and lunching in the park across the street. From there it was onto the village of Santillana del ...

At end of dinner service they even brought out 7 layers of sins chocolate tower. They put some stones on my table as it turned out to be candy rock with spices for shaving on the churro....too fancy. Once the taxi arrive at my home stay, I had to walk a few blocks , on purpose to help digest the meal. On to the cooking class ...

Borgas and Bilbao

On our way to Bilbao we stopped at Borgas for lunch. We had a huge burger with the lot, meat, cheese, bacon, egg, salad ( the only thing missing was the beetroot), and a beer for €4.   Rosemary and Wendy, from Donnybrook have renamed the tour the "EPR" Tour.  It stands for eat, pee and run!    This is possibly because they are both smokers and cigarette time takes precedence over anything else!   We have a rule that if ...
