... guys were the bike riders, the girls along for the ride (pardon the pun). We had a very enjoyable 45 minutes chatting with them about their bike riding exploits,.. and telling of our travels to date. Talk about coincidences,.. we mentioned our 2014 Italy trip chasing medieval fairs and festivals,.. one of the couples had been in Monteriggioni at the same time we were last year! ... views all around. We had a map with walks that we undertook and rambled up to the village through olive & orange groves, we collected the fallen oranges and they tasted great. Blossom was on the trees, the valley was coming to life with birdsong, flowering rosemary, and warm breezes with scents of spring in the air. ... between two dorm rooms which I thought was going to make reserving a spot tough, but I only had to wait in line once. Interestingly there is a buday next to the toilet. I was tempted to use it after I did my business but how do you dry yourself afterwards? Do you just use toilet paper? Is there a special baday towel? Do I just air dry? So many questions.
